Juri Knauth
Software/Game Developer and Mentor
Hi, I’m Juri, a Unity developer with a passion for building games that feel great to play.
I’ve been creating games for over six years, starting with modding
Warcraft 3 and
Starcraft 2, and eventually moving into professional studio work and solo development.
Today, I work full-time as a Unity Developer on mobile and cross-platform titles, where I focus on gameplay, UI/UX, performance, and systems design.
Whether I’m working with a team or on my own projects, I care about the details: the polish, the feedback, and the moment everything just clicks.
I love that “A-ha!” moment players get when something works just right, and I enjoy the challenge of making that happen through code, design, or clever systems.
My skillset covers Unity3D, C#, rapid prototyping, level design, UI, AR/VR, mobile development, and 3D workflows. I'm always learning through books, courses, game jams, and building things that challenge me both creatively and technically.
While I’m currently employed full-time, I’m always open to hearing about new opportunities, freelance work, or collaborations that spark my curiosity. If you have something exciting in mind, feel free to reach out.

Motivation
Ever since I was a kid, I paid special attention to how games were made. I would often imagine or build my own sequels whenever the original didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Today, I focus on creating new titles with unique mechanics and believable worlds.
My goal is to discover fun and innovative ways to interact with players. Seeing the joy and emotion that games can spark in others brings a smile to my face every time. I frequently brainstorm game concepts or help friends develop their ideas into something playable.
I consider designing systems that feel natural and behave realistically to be one of my biggest strengths. I often iterate through many versions in my head before starting production. Once a team project kicks off, I contribute wherever I can and enjoy learning whatever’s needed to help see the game through to completion.
